We will again be at the Northland Performing Arts Center!

(NE side of Columbus – off Morse Rd.)
Our new show hall was a success. It was smaller than our old site and vending space was a little tighter but all in all we think it went very well.
We will be making some adjustments to the layout and again ask that our vendors be space aware as the vendors spaces are smaller. Parking is still free as is the WiFi. Many enjoyed the nice padded chairs and the projector screen in the lobby was fun to watch…we plan to add some of the pictures from last year, as well as the sponsorship ads and advertisements from this year. The concession stand had really good food but outside food is allowed. The 2-large projector screens in show hall for posting ferret numbers worked very well. And we plan to add more signage at the judges stations so there is a little less confusion.
The location is easy to find, just off Morse Rd., 2 miles East of I-71 North and 3 miles West of I-270 on Eastside.
HOTEL BLOCK: We have set up another block of rooms at the Ramada Columbus North hotel. Unfortunately, a few ferret owners did not follow the show hotel guidelines and allowed there ferrets to run freely in halls and other public areas. Some people had pets in their rooms and failed to inform the hotel and therefore did not pay the pet fee. The Ramada has allowed us to return at $89 a night but has increased the pet fee to a daily $25 fee.
We are finding it increasingly difficult to find decent pet friendly hotels for our shows. PLEASE, click on the link Show Hotel Guidelines and read carefully. Even if you are NOT showing the ferret(s) you brought with you, are purchasing an new ferret or brought any other pet with you..these guidelines apply to you.
SEE YOU IN AUGUST!
All ferrets brought into the show hall MUST show proof of a current rabies and sign a waiver stating distemper vaccination is current. Must also have proof of current Aleution Disease Virus (ADV) results within 1 year of show date.
